Our History
The idea of creating an organization to help the indigenous people of Cameroon (pygmies) came in light of the poorest condition of living of the pygmies in the forest of campo-Kribi.
We decided we needed to raise global awareness of the plight of the pygmies, so in December 2005, Destinee Charity Foundation was born with the purpose of improving the lives of the pygmies through education and development programs.
On 1-5-2006 we bought clothes/t-shirts to the pygmies and invited them to workers day.
In 2006 we received a donation of medicine from Medeor organisation in germany. You can view the donation here as a PDF.
Today, we are still working to improve the quality of life of the pygmies.
